SoHo Terrace Native garden
Our objective was to design a space for hosting dinner parties, relaxing with friends, and movie nights. The terrace was long and narrow and needed some divvying up to clarify spaces for both dining and lounging, so we turned the middle of the terrace into a dining area with a lounge at the end. River birch trees offer protection and shade, with foliage turning golden yellow in the fall.
We wanted to warm up the space which we achieved with a naturalistic plant palette in pink, purple and red hues , custom wooden planters, and terracotta planters. The custom planter carries the garden across the entire terrace and unifies the garden rooms for a totally immersive nature experience!

“ I worked with Jarema and Adam on the redesign of my terrace. They were a pleasure to work with, easy to communicate with, and I was thrilled with the results!!” - Client
